A tender, human story set in Gaza about a 60-year-old fisherman who falls in love while coping with the hardships of life under blockade. The film strikes a balance between humor and melancholy, presenting Gaza from an intimate, human perspective.

14. January
From Ground Zero [EN]
A collection of 22 short films shot in Gaza. Initiated by Palestinian director Rashid Masharawi, the project was launched to give a voice to 22 people from the Gaza Strip. Ultimately the film stands as both testimony and act of creation: showing that even in the face of destruction, art and human dignity persist.

11. February
Concerning Violence [EN]
Using powerful archival footage and the words of Frantz Fanon, this documentary traces Africa’s violent struggles against colonial rule and links those liberation movements to contemporary resistance, showing how the legacies of colonial violence continue to shape the fight for decolonization today.

Black History Month
11. March
Naila and The Uprising [EN]
The documentary follows Naila Ayesh, a young Palestinian woman whose life and activism intertwine during the First Intifada. The film highlights the central role of Palestinian women in leading nonviolent resistance and organising under occupation, celebrating their courage and collective power in the struggle for freedom.

International Women’s Day
8. April
All That’s Left of You [EN]
The film follows a Palestinian family across three generations, tracing how the legacies of displacement, the Nakba, and enduring resistance shape a mother’s understanding of her son’s wounding during a West Bank protest and the history that brought them to this moment. A deeply personal saga, exploring the enduring impact of generational memory, loss, and resilience under occupation.
